| Resumen : | El presente proyecto de investigación describe la ejecución de una Auditoría Informática mediante el uso de la metodología COBIT 5 a la Cooperativa de Transportes Patria, en el periodo 2020, ubicada en la ciudad de Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo, la misma que se dedica a la prestación de servicios de transporte de pasajeros y encomiendas, la Cooperativa utiliza recursos tecnológicos para optimizar los procesos internos que coadyuvan a cumplir los objetivos de negocio de manera eficiente. La auditoría se basa en los lineamientos de COBIT 5 que es un conjunto de mejores prácticas tanto para el Gobierno Corporativo como para la Administración en la gestión de las tecnologías de la información, COBIT 5 se usa para auditar la gestión y el control de los sistemas de la información. Metodológicamente se utilizó un método deductivo, con un tipo de investigación de campo y documental, enfoque mixto: cualitativo y cuantitativo a nivel de investigación descriptivo, la población de la investigación se conformó por el personal administrativo y técnico de la Sede de la Cooperativa de Transportes Patria además de evaluar el Sistema Informático NOVO ERP; las técnicas que ha permitido recolectar información fundamental son la encuesta, entrevista, y la observación para determinar las deficiencias en el manejo de la seguridad de la información por lo que se concluye que la Auditoria informática permite garantizar la integridad física de los equipos, la información e infraestructura tecnológica permitiendo aumentar la seguridad de la información de la Cooperativa. |
| Descripción : | This research project describes the execution of a Computer Audit using the COBIT 5 methodology to the Patria Transport Cooperative, in the period 2020, located in the city of Riobamba, Chimborazo province, the same one that is dedicated to the provision of passenger transport services and parcels, the Cooperative uses technological resources to optimize the internal processes that contributed to meet the business objectives in a way efficient. The audit is based on the guidelines of COBIT 5 which is a set of best practices for both Corporate Governance and Administration in the management of information technologies, COBIT 5 is used to audit the management and control of information systems. Methodologically a deductive method was used, with a type of field and documentary research, mixed approach: qualitative and quantitative at the level of descriptive research, the research population was made up of the administrative and technical staff of the Headquarters of the Cooperativa de Transportes Patria in addition to evaluating the NOVO ERP Computer System; the techniques that have allowed to collect fundamental information are the survey, interview, and observation to determine the deficiencies in the management of information security, so it is concluded that the Computer Audit allows to guarantee the physical integrity of the equipment, information and technological infrastructure allowing to increase the security of the information of the Cooperative. |
