Descripción : The present research addressed the study of Learning Styles and their relationship with the Academic Performance of students of the tenth year of General Basic Education parallel "A" of the Fernando Daquilema Educational Unit. For many years the conception of learning styles predominated as a generalized ability to adapt to learning in the classroom. However, generalizing learning is a mistake that is made very frequently, with learners being harmed. To meet the objective of the study to determine the relationship of learning styles with the academic performance of students, methodologically it was a research with a mixed approach, non-experimental design, descriptive and correlational; for the basic objective, for the place of field. Transversal type The techniques used were Psychometric Tests with their respective instruments The “Lynn O`brien” preferred Learning Channel test for the independent variable and the scorecard for the dependent variable. The sample consisted of 35 students of the tenth year of Basic Basic General Education "A". The results of the Learning Styles test showed that students have developed styles to a lesser or greater degree, the answers given to the test are the product of a self-assessment while assessments for academic performance in the subjects are standardized for all and generally from a hetero-evaluation made by the teacher.
