Título : Comportamiento de rinitis alérgica por aspergillus rhizopus y alternaría en niños de 2 a 12 años. Centro Pediátrico Muñoz 2018

Resumen : La rinitis es una enfermedad alérgica, que presenta un componente inmunológico y que afecta principalmente a pacientes en edad infantil, disminuyendo la calidad de vida de cada uno de los pacientes afectados. Objetivo:Determinar el comportamiento de la rinitis alérgica por Aspergillus, Rhizopus y Alternaria en niños de 2 a12 años atendidos en el Centro de Asma y Alergias Instituto Pediátrico Muñoz en el periodo comprendido entre enero – diciembre del 2018. Material y métodos: se realizó un estudio descriptivo, explicativo y correlacional que incluyó una muestra de 151 niños de 2 a12 años atendidos en el Centro de Asma y Alergias Instituto Pediátrico Muñoz en el periodo comprendido entre enero – diciembre del 2018, de los cuales se revisó su historia clínica presente en software denominado “Sistema Integral de Administración en Salud. Angel”que se maneja en la institución mencionada. Resultados: Los principales resultados estuvieron dados por un predominio de pacientes de sexo masculino (55,63%), la grupo de edad con mayor número de casos es de 5 a 8 años de edad (34,44%), con presencia de rinorrea como la principal manifestación clínica (60,93%), el tratamiento de elección es el esquema combinado en todos los casos(100%), de acuerdo al Prick testlos agentes etiológico mixtos (Aspergillus y Alternaria) se encontraron con mayor frecuencia (47,68),127 pacientes recibieron educación y manejo ambiental (84,11) como complemento de su terapia, teniendo como respuesta la mejoría clínica 131 niños (86,75%). Conclusión: Se concluye que existió correlación positiva considerable entre pertenecer al sexo masculino y tener diagnóstico rinitis alérgica por Aspergillus Rhizopus y Alternaria, además de que el esquema de tratamiento combinado (farmacológico e inmunoterapia) es eficaz en el tratamiento para dicha patología, acompañado de un adecuado manejo y educación ambiental.
Descripción : Rhinitis is an allergic disease, which has an immunological component and mainly affects patients of child age, reducing the quality of life of each of the affected patients. Objective: To determine the behavior of allergic rhinitis due to Aspergillus, Rhizopus and Alternaria in children aged 2 to 12 years treated in the Center of Asthma and Allergy Pediatric Institute Muñoz in the period between January - December 2018. Material and methods: a descriptive, explanatory and correlational study was carried out that included a sample of 151 children from 2 to 12 years old attended in the Asthma and Allergy Center of the Muñoz Pediatric Institute in the period between January - December 2018, of which their clinical history present in software called “Integral System of Health Administration. Angel ”that is handled in the mentioned institution. Results: The main results were given by a predominance of male patients (55.63%), the age group with the highest number of cases is 5 to 8 years old (34.44%), with the presence of rhinorrhea such as main clinical manifestation (60.93%), the treatment of choice is the combined scheme in all cases (100%), according to the Prick test the mixed etiological agents (Aspergillus and Alternaria) were found with greater frequency (47.68 ), 127 patients received education and environmental management (84.11) as a complement to their therapy, with 131 children (86.75%) as clinical improvement. Conclusion: It is concluded that there was a considerable positive correlation between belonging to the male sex and having allergic rhinitis diagnosis by Aspergillus Rhizopus and Alternaria, in addition to the fact that the combined treatment scheme (pharmacological and immunotherapy) is effective in the treatment for said pathology, accompanied by adequate management and environmental education.
