Título : Registro del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la parroquia de Palmira, cantón Guamote, provincia de Chimborazo, para su valoración social a través de las fichas del INPC

Resumen : El presente informe de investigación se basa en la recopilación de información del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la parroquia de Palmira, cantón Guamote, provincia de Chimborazo, con el propósito de rescatar las diferentes manifestaciones culturales, para la preservación y conservación del legado de la memoria histórica de esta parroquia, que con el transcurso del tiempo se han ido perdiendo. La parroquia de Palmira se caracteriza por ser un pueblo que ha desarrollado una identidad tanto en sus costumbres como tradiciones que lo distingue de los demás pueblos, los habitantes de esta parroquia intentan asegurar que las nuevas generaciones de jóvenes no pierdan el legado de sus antepasados y a su vez que puedan ser trasmitidas a las nuevas descendencias. Los métodos más utilizados en esta investigación fue el exploratorio y descriptivo, lo cual, permitió recolectar información a través de la observación directa y las entrevistas a profundidad dirigidas a los habitantes de la parroquia, principalmente a las personas adultas porque son un grupo que conoce y son muy sabios en saber su propia cultura, facilitando la complementación de la información requerida en base a sus experiencias. Se analizaron los testimonios de los habitantes para poder redactar y llenar las respectivas fichas de registro del Instituto Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial (INPC), siguiendo esta metodología se pudo obtener 20 bienes patrimoniales intangibles.
Descripción : This research report is based on the collection of information on the intangible cultural heritage of the Palmira parish, in Guamote canton, Chimborazo province, with the purpose of rescuing the different cultural manifestations, to preserve and conservate the legacy of historical memory of this parish, which over time has been lost. The Palmira parish is characterized as a town that has developed an identity in both its customs and traditions that distinguishes it from other people, the inhabitants of this parish try to ensure that new generations of young people do not lose the legacy of their ancestors and once they can be transmitted to the new descendants. The methods most used in this investigation were the exploratory and descriptive, which allowed to collect information through direct observation and in-depth interviews directed to the inhabitants of this parish, mainly to adults because they are a group that know and they are very wise in knowing their own culture, facilitating the complementation of the information required based on their experiences. The testimonies of the inhabitants were analyzed in order to write and fill the respective registration forms of the National Institute of Intangible Cultural Heritage (INPC), following this methodology it was possible to obtain 20 intangible heritage assets.
