Resumen : El trabajo de investigación titulado “Fiesta de San Pedro como identidad cultural en el imaginario social de la población Alausí en el periodo enero- junio 2017”, se realiza con el objetivo de fortalecer la identidad cultural de los habitantes de Alausí, partimos con el análisis del problema y la definición del objetivo general y sus específicos para continuar con el marco teórico en donde se hace referencia a temas y subtemas relacionados con la variable independiente Identidad cultual y de la variable dependiente Imaginario Social, continuando con la definición de hipótesis, términos, operacionalización y discusión de resultados y de las variables. La metodología de investigación, parte de la ilustración de los métodos, tipo y diseño de investigación, población y muestra establecida con 371 habitantes, técnicas e instrumentos empleados para la recolección de datos a la vez las técnicas de procedimiento para el análisis, aplicando la técnica de encuesta y entrevistas para ello preparando los instrumentos que son la guía de encuesta y guía de entrevista, con cuyos datos se procedió a realizar el análisis e interpretación de resultados para proceder a determinar su deducción con los porcentajes obtenidos. Los datos obtenidos de la encuesto sirvieron para determinar las conclusiones y recomendaciones. Se determina una investigación de gran impacto en virtud de que los resultados obtenidos permitieron visualizar parte de la identidad cultural de los ciudadanos alauseños son las fiestas, pero de la misma forma que parte esencial de la identidad cultural se ha visto afectado con el mundo globalizado y la cultura occidental que ha optado la nueva generación.
Descripción : The research work entitled "Fiesta de San Pedro as a cultural identity in the social imaginary of the Alausí population in the period January-June 2017", is carried out with the aim of strengthening the cultural identity of the Alausí inhabitants, we start with the analysis of the problem and the definition of the general objective and its specific to continue with the theoretical framework where reference is made to topics and sub-themes related to the independent variable Cultural identity and the dependent variable Social Imaginary, continuing with the definition of hypothesis, terms, operationalization and discussion of results and variables. The research methodology, part of the illustration of the methods, type and design of research, population and sample established with 371 inhabitants, techniques and instruments used for data collection at the same time the procedure techniques for the analysis, applying the technique of survey and interviews for this, preparing the instruments that are the survey guide and interview guide, with whose data the analysis and interpretation of results were proceeded to proceed to determine its deduction with the percentages obtained. The data obtained from the survey served to determine the conclusions and recommendations. A high-impact research is determined by virtue of the fact that the results obtained allowed visualizing part of the cultural identity of the citizens of Alajuela are the festivals, but in the same way that an essential part of the cultural identity has been affected with the globalized world and the western culture that the new generation has chosen...
