| dc.description | La presente investigación se centra en el patrimonio cultural de la cabecera cantonal de Penipe, identificando como problema de estudio la degradación y desvalorización del patrimonio cultural, así como en la falta de iniciativas para su preservación, promoción y difusión, dando objetivo de estudio el de poder analizar y comprender la dimensión y el valor que tiene para la identidad local. El estudio se enfoca en el patrimonio tangible e intangible, así como en su relación con la construcción de la identidad cultural de los habitantes de la cabecera cantonal de Penipe. A través de una metodología descriptiva y analítica, se realizó un estudio de caso de la población, se empleó un muestreo no probabilístico para la aplicación de encuestas, lo cual permitió recopilar datos cuantitativos y objetivos sobre el conocimiento, valoración y participación de los habitantes en la preservación de su patrimonio. Los resultados obtenidos revelan una situación compleja en torno al patrimonio cultural de la cabecera cantonal de Penipe. Por un lado, se evidencia una rica diversidad de manifestaciones patrimoniales, tanto materiales como inmateriales, que conforman un legado histórico y cultural de gran valor, sin embargo, se constató también un débil conocimiento y valoración de este patrimonio por parte de una significativa porción de la población. Este desconocimiento se manifiesta en una limitada participación ciudadana en actividades de preservación y difusión del patrimonio, así como en una escasa identificación de los habitantes con su patrimonio cultural. Estos hallazgos sugieren la necesidad de implementar estrategias de sensibilización y educación patrimonial dirigidas a la población local, con el fin de fomentar un mayor aprecio por su patrimonio y promover su participación activa en su salvaguarda. Asimismo, se recomienda fortalecer las políticas públicas de protección y gestión del patrimonio cultural, con el objetivo de garantizar su preservación para las futuras generaciones. | es_ES |
| dc.description.sponsorship | This research focuses on the cultural heritage of the cantonal capital of Penipe, identifying as a problem of study the degradation and devaluation of cultural heritage, as well as the lack of initiatives for its preservation, promotion and dissemination, giving the objective of the study to analyze and understand the dimension and value it has for the local identity. The study focuses on the tangible and intangible heritage, as well as its relationship with the construction of the cultural identity of the inhabitants of the cantonal capital of Penipe. Through a descriptive and analytical methodology, a case study of the population was carried out, a non-probabilistic sampling was used for the application of surveys, which allowed the collection of quantitative and objective data on the knowledge, valuation and participation of the inhabitants in the preservation of their heritage. The results reveal a complex situation regarding the cultural heritage of the cantonal capital of Penipe. On the one hand, there is evidence of a rich diversity of heritage manifestations, both tangible and intangible, which make up a historical and cultural legacy of great value, however, it was also noted that a significant portion of the population has little knowledge and appreciation of this heritage. This lack of knowledge is manifested in limited citizen participation in heritage preservation and dissemination activities, as well as in the limited identification of the inhabitants with their cultural heritage. These findings suggest the need to implement heritage awareness and education strategies aimed at the local population, in order to foster greater appreciation for their heritage and promote their active participation in its safeguarding. It is also recommended that public policies for the protection and management of cultural heritage be strengthened in order to guarantee its preservation for future generations. | es_ES |
