| Resumen : | RESUMEN La investigación fue desarrollada con la modalidad de revisión bibliográfica la cual consistió en la búsqueda de artículos científicos, libros, revistas, sitios web para obtener la información, el objetivo de la investigación fue analizar la fisioterapia respiratoria en la distrofia muscular de Duchenne a través del estudio de información científica para verificar la importancia de este método de rehabilitación en la patología. Se indago y se obtuvieron 122 artículos científicos los cuales al ser analizados fueron descartándose si no poseían una variable en relación con el tema propuesto, si estaban duplicados, si tenían una baja calificación según PEDro (calificación igual o menor a 6), y si eran de años anteriores al 2016. Los idiomas en los cuales fueron encontrados los artículos fueron en español, inglés, portugués y francés. Las bases de datos científicas que fueron utilizadas para la recolección de artículos fueron Science Direct ELSEVIER, ProQuest, WorldWideScience, Dianet, Google Scholar y PubMed siendo el buscador donde se hallaron el mayor porcentaje de artículos. Al finalizar el estudio se concluyó que la fisioterapia en especial la rama respiratoria son efectivas para la aplicación en pacientes con Distrofia Muscular de Duchenne (DMD) siendo de ayuda para brindarle una óptima calidad de vida a cada paciente ya que retrasa la evolución de la enfermedad y ayuda a una mayor funcionalidad para el desempeño de las actividades de la vida. Los ejercicios de fisioterapia y las técnicas de respiración son fundamentales proporcionando una gran mejoría de la funcionalidad pulmonar, ya que el sistema cardiorrespiratorio se ve afectado con el paso del tiempo. |
| Descripción : | ABSTRACT The research was developed with the bibliographic review modality which consisted of searching scientific articles, books, magazines, websites to obtain the information, the objective of the research was to analyze respiratory physiotherapy in Duchenne muscular dystrophy through the study of scientific articles to verify the importance of this rehabilitation method in pathology. It was investigated and 122 scientific articles were obtained which when analyzed were discarded if they did not have one variable in relation to the other with the proposed topic, if they were duplicated, if they had a low rating according to PEDro (rating equal to or less than 6), and if they were from years after 2012. The languages in which the articles were found were Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French. The scientific databases that were used for the collection of articles were Science Direct ELSEVIER, ProQuest, WorldWideScience, Dianet, Google Scholar and PubMed, being the search engine where the highest percentage of articles were found. At the end of the study, it was concluded that physiotherapy and respiratory therapy are effective for application in patients with DMD, being a great contribution to provide an optimal quality of life to each patient since it delays the evolution of the disease and helps to greater functionality for the performance of life activities. Physiotherapy exercises and breathing techniques are essential, providing a great improvement in lung function, since the cardiorespiratory system is affected over time.
