Descripción : The applied research had been carried out in bibliographic review mode with the aim of analyzing the different scientific articles about Bobath in the physiotherapeutic intervention in a hemiplegic patient in order to determine the effectiveness of the proposed technique. Hemiplegia is one of the main causes of disability, due to long-term motor, sensory and cognitive sequelae. Hemiplegia is a disorder in which there is total or partial loss of movement control and sensitivity; It is a consequence of a stroke that affects one of the cerebral hemispheres. Physiotherapy plays an important role in the intervention of the patient taking into account the Bobath technique because it is oriented to the integral treatment of people with nervous system disorders. In the methodology, the information was collected from 2006 onwards, analyzing 85 scientific articles, journals, clinical cases, websites, and books in different languages such as Spanish, English and Chinese that were obtained through scientific search engines such as Scielo, Scopus, WordWideScience, PubMed, Google Scholar and university repositories. Through the PEDro scale, each of them was evaluated, excluding those who did not meet an adequate score, leaving 35 articles which met the assessment equal to or greater than 6. At the end of the investigation it was concluded the Bobath method is effective in the treatment of patients with hemiplegia because it helps improve muscle tension, stability, balance, motor function, sensorimotor control of the upper and lower limbs of the patient.
