Resumen : Existe un desconocimiento de la cultura oriental por parte de la mayoría de la población riobambeña, puesto que no existen materiales gráficos, visuales o de diseño, que aporten a la sociedad con información de manera clara y eficiente. Son escasos los materiales de aprendizaje. Por esta razón después de analizar todos los problemas sociales y culturales que se tiene el país con respecto a la cultura oriental el objetivo de realizar la tesis es diseñar carteles como estrategia de difusión de la cultura oriental en el contexto riobambeño de esa forma identificar cuales son los referentes teóricos y metodológicos que justifican la pertinencia y necesidad de difundir aquella cultura y de esta forma poder determinar los requerimientos o componentes que deben reunir los carteles para difundir la dicha cultura y tener la factibilidad de conocer todo relacionado a lo oriental. La metodología tuvo un método analítico-sintético, etnográfico, inductivo y deductivo, el tipo de investigación fue descriptivo y explicativo, la población fueron los habitantes de la ciudad de Riobamba, las técnicas la observación, encuesta, los instrumentos fueron la ficha de observación y el cuestionario mediante la recolección de datos se puedo analizar que, existe muy poca difusión sobre la cultura oriental, debido al poco conocimiento de su lengua, escritura y simbología es escaso el poder encontrar y entender carteles que difundan estas culturas cuando no se posee un adecuado conocimiento sobre los significados que encierra cada uno de los carteles.
Descripción : There is a lack of knowledge of Oriental culture on the part of the majority of the Riobamba population, since there are no graphic, visual or design materials that contribute to society with information in a clear and efficient manner. Learning materials are scarce. For this reason, after analyzing all the social and cultural problems that the country has with respect to Eastern culture, the objective of doing the thesis is to design posters as a strategy to disseminate Oriental culture in the Riobamba context. the theoretical and methodological referents that justify the relevance and need to spread that culture and in this way to be able to determine the requirements or components that the posters must meet to spread the said culture and have the feasibility of knowing everything related to the oriental. The methodology had an analytical-synthetic, ethnographic, inductive and deductive method, the type of research was descriptive and explanatory, the population was the inhabitants of the city of Riobamba, the techniques observation, survey, the instruments were the observation sheet and the questionnaire through the collection of data can be analyzed that, there is very little diffusion about the oriental culture, due to the little knowledge of their language, writing and symbols, it is scarce to be able to find and understand posters that disseminate these cultures when they do not have an adequate knowledge about the meanings that each of the cards encloses.
