| dc.description | The present investigation was carried out in the Perez Guerrero Educational Unit of the Guano Canton of the Province of Chimborazo during the 2016-2017 school year, in this case the purpose of the investigation was the description of the inclusion process in the Unit. For this, it was established to know how the inclusive culture was carried out, then we inquired about inclusive policies and finally analyzed the inclusive practices. The subject is very important in that it has a theoretical value, practical utility and social relevance. The study that is based on the theory was collected from the Index for Inclusion Guide, The Constitution of Ecuador, The National Plan for Good Living. Methodologically, it was a qualitative, not experimental, design research; by the descriptive level; the type was field, bibliographic and transversal. The techniques used were the survey, with its respective instrument, the questionnaire consisting of 15 questions with the option of multiple answers. The population was composed of the Educational Unit and the sample was of a total of 37 people, of which 5 were directors, 12 teachers and 20 parents. The general conclusion allowed to establish that the process of educational inclusion is not given in an adequate way since there is not enough preparation of the educational community. | dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se realizó en la Unidad Educativa Pérez Guerrero del Cantón Guano de la Provincia de Chimborazo durante el año lectivo 2016-2017, en este caso el propósito de la investigación fue la descripción del proceso de inclusión en la Unidad. Pare ello se estableció conocer cómo se realizaba la cultura inclusiva, luego se indago sobre las políticas inclusivas y finalmente se analizó las prácticas inclusivas. El tema es de mucha importancia en cuanto tiene un valor teórico, de utilidad práctica y relevancia social. El estudio que se sustenta en la teoría fue recabada de la Guía Índex for Inclusión, La Constitución del Ecuador, El Plan Nacional del Buen Vivir. Metodológicamente se trató de una investigación de diseño cualitativo, no experimental; por el nivel descriptivo; el tipo fue de campo, bibliográfica y transversal. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron la encuesta, con su respectivo instrumento, el cuestionario que consta de 15 preguntas con opción de repuestas múltiples. La población estuvo compuesta la Unidad Educativa y la muestra fue de un total de 37 personas de las cuales fueron 5 directivos, 12 docentes y 20 padres de familia. La conclusión general permitió establecer que el proceso de inclusión educativa no se da de una manera adecuada puesto que no hay la suficiente preparación de la comunidad educativa.
