| Resumen : | En el presente trabajo se realiza el análisis de las “Microfinanzas e Instituciones Microfinancieras del Ecuador. Periodo 2010 - 2015.”, que busca brindar información relevante sobre las microfinanzas del país a las instituciones públicas para la toma de decisiones direccionadas a las políticas públicas y que pueden aportar para mejorar este sistema microfinanciero; la información recolectada en esta investigación permitirá que las instituciones estatales y privadas tengan una visión más amplia sobre el tema. El capítulo I, Marco Referencial, está compuesto por: la introducción, que engloba el planteamiento del problema y la justificación de la investigación; y además se plantean los objetivos (general y específicos). El capítulo II, Marco Teórico, está estructurado por tres partes. En la primera parte se presentan la literatura teórica correspondiente a las microfinanzas, sus antecedentes, definiciones, la importancia de este sector en la economía y los productos microfinancieros que las instituciones microfinancieras ofrecen a sus clientes. Así mismo, los productos microfinancieros detallados poseen la descripción de sus tipos y beneficios de su utilización, y finalmente se exponen los lineamientos legales que rigen a las microfinanzas en el Ecuador. El capítulo III, Marco Metodológico, el cual señala la metodología de la investigación, así como se analiza la información estadística de las microfinanzas, en varios escenarios, el número de instituciones, el microcrédito por tipo de institución, la cartera de crédito global y específica y por último las captaciones por cada tipo de institución. El capítulo IV, Se establecen las Conclusiones resultantes a las que se llegó una vez finalizado la presente investigación y las respectivas recomendaciones. |

Chapter II, Theoretical Framework, is structured in three parts. The first part presents the theoretical literature on microfinance, its background, definitions, the importance of this sector in the economy and the microfinance products that microfinance institutions offer their clients. Likewise, the detailed microfinance products have a description of their types and benefits of their use, and finally the legal guidelines that govern microfinance in Ecuador are presented. Chapter III, Methodological Framework, which outlines the research methodology, as well as the statistical information of microfinance, in various scenarios, the number of institutions, microcredit by type of institution, global and specific loan portfolio And finally the fund raising by each type of institution. Chapter IV, Establishes the Conclusions that came after the conclusion of the present investigation and the respective recommendations. |
