| Resumen : | En este trabajo investigativo se pretende identificar si la festividad de la Virgen del Carmelo del cantón Chambo, provincia de Chimborazo se puede considerar un patrimonio para el cantón. Para lo cual se verifica la información mediante entrevistas a expertos como: Teólogo, Historiador, Antropólogo y a la Sra. Achance que ha sido la encargada de organizar la fiesta por varios años. Con la información obtenida de las entrevistas se valida e interpreta que la festividad Virgen del Carmelo si se la puede considerar como un patrimonio intangible para Chambo; puesto que en esta festividad se puede observar una diversidad cultural por la afluencia de devotos y visitantes de todas las provincias del Ecuador e incluso del extranjero que comparten su gastronomía, baile y vestimenta; también se considera a la festividad como tradición y cultura ya que existen actividades que se realizan año tras año como: toros de pueblo, bendición de jinetes, serenata a la Virgen, guerra de Dj´s, ollas encantadas y rayuela incluso estás actividades han ido aumentando por la misma diversidad cultural que está presente en la festividad. Mediante lo investigado se proporciona información escrita que permita a futuras investigaciones tener una base acerca de la festividad de la Virgen del Carmelo. |
| Descripción : | In this investigative work it is intended to identify if the festival of the Virgen del Carmelo of the Chambo canton, Chimborazo province can be considered a heritage for the canton. For which the information is verified through interviews with experts such as: Theologian, Historian, Anthropologist and Mrs. Achance who has been in charge of organizing the party for several years. With the information obtained from the interviews, it is validated and interpreted that the Virgen del Carmelo festivity can be considered as an intangible heritage for Chambo; since in this festivity a cultural diversity can be observed due to the influx of devotees and visitors from all the provinces of Ecuador and even from abroad who share their gastronomy, dance and clothing; The festivity is considered a tradition and culture since there are activities that are carried out year after year such as: town bulls, blessing of riders, serenade to the Virgin, DJ war, enchanted pots and hopscotch even these activities have been increasing for the same cultural diversity that is present in the festivity. Through the investigation, written information is provided that allows future investigations to have a basis about the festivity of the Virgin of Carmel.
