| dc.description | The Riobamba Train Station is one of the iconic places in the city with significant historical, cultural, and economic importance. Over time, it has experienced a decline due to various factors. However, citizens who have individual memories associated with this place are transported to a time when it brought them prosperity. Therefore, it has been deemed appropriate to investigate its history, heritage, and prosperity. A qualitative, descriptive, and bibliographic methodology was implemented for this purpose. The techniques employed included interviews and field diaries, with interview guides and field diary guides being the instruments used. These were applied to different individuals from various social and economic backgrounds. The results revealed strong criticism towards governmental administrations and provided constructive analysis for rescuing this heritage site's collective and historical memory. Finally, the study concluded by proposing the presentation of "The Riobamba Train Station: History, Heritage, and Prosperity" as the ultimate goal. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La Estación del Tren Riobamba es uno de los lugares icónicos de la ciudad con gran trascendencia histórica, cultural y económica que a través del tiempo por diversos factores ha ido en decadencia, sin embargo, los ciudadanos que en su memoria individual poseen recuerdos que los transportan a una época en la cual les generó prosperidad, por lo cual se ha creído conveniente investigar su historia, patrimonio y prosperidad. Para ello se implementó una metodología cualitativa, descriptiva y bibliográfica. Las técnicas implementadas destacan la entrevista y el diario de campo, como instrumento la guía de entrevista y la guía de diario de campo en la que se aplicó a diferentes ciudadanos de distinta actividad social y económica. Los resultados mostraron una crítica fuerte a las administraciones estatales y un análisis constructivo para rescatar la memoria colectiva e histórica de este lugar patrimonial. Lo cual permitió concluir y proponer como fin último la presentación de “La Estación del Tren Riobamba; historia, patrimonio y prosperidad”. | es_ES |
