| dc.description | ABSTRACT This study aimed to evaluate the "Level of knowledge, attitude, and practice of occupational hazards in students of the unity of dental care, UNACH." The research was correlational, field-based, descriptive, and cross-sectional with a non-experimental research design that did not involve vulnerable intervention. The study sample group was 150 students enrolled in the Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo's dental clinic during the academic period from June to November 2020. The technique used in the study was a test and a questionnaire to determine the level of understanding of the participants. The results were processed through the statistics SPSS program, in which an average understanding was demonstrated concerning occupational hazards, attitudes, and practices. Clinic I (seventh semester) obtained 35.8%, Clinic III (ninth semester) obtained 35.7%, as to Clinic II (eighth semester), and Clinic IV (tenth semester) obtained 38.1% taking into account that there were fewer enrolled students resulting in a higher percentage; it should be emphasized in the present research that the female gender is belonging to Clinic I have a relevant score equivalent to good on the level of knowledge, attitude and practice on occupational hazards. | dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar el “Nivel de conocimiento, actitud y practica sobre riesgos ocupacionales en estudiantes de la unidad de atención odontológica, UNACH. La investigación fue de tipo correlacional, de campo, descriptiva y transversal con un diseño de investigación no experimental ya que no involucró intervención en el sector vulnerable. La población de estudio fue 150 estudiantes matriculados en la clínica odontológica de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo durante el período académico junio - noviembre 2020, la técnica que se manejó en el estudio es un test y como instrumento el cuestionario para determinar el nivel de conocimiento de los evaluados. Los resultados fueron procesados a través del programa estadístico SPSS, en el que se demostró un nivel medio de conocimiento de los estudiantes sobre riesgos ocupacionales actitud y práctica. La Clínica I (séptimo semestres) obtuvo un 35,8%, la Clínica III (noveno semestre) un 35,7% al igual que la Clínica II (octavo semestre) y la Clínica IV (decimo semestre) obtuvo un 38,1% cabe recalcar que tienen menos estudiantes matriculados, por ende, tienen un mayor porcentaje, cabe recalcar en la presente investigación que el género femenino perteneciente a la clínica I tiene una nota relevante equivalente a buena sobre el nivel de conocimiento actitud y practica sobre riesgos ocupacionales. | es_ES |
