| dc.description | This paper identifies the migratory determinants of the province of Chimborazo and the socio-economic repercussions of its population since 1950-2017. The analysis by which the population and housing censuses the have been carried out in the country. To understand what are the socio-economic repercussions, the psychological aspect that affects people when they migrate, and the impact on the quality of life, which it has in the province. It is basing on the premise that migration is a social phenomenon that originated millions of years ego, and that evolution has come throughout history. It is a descriptive, exploratory, and correlational research because it allows us to understand the context of the chimboracense population that decided to migrate. It should also is mention that during the investigation, no quantitative variables are using. Only they manipulated the censuses to obtain information on the exit of immigrants. Interviews with the staff of the Municipal GADs are conducting for data collection. In addition to ten surveys conducted in each canton of the province of Chimborazo. As a conclusion, the primary migratory determinant is the economic one. Also, the main socio-economical consequence is the effect on the labor market that causes migration, as well as that it causes ruptures in the destination cities. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar los determinantes migratorios den la provincia de Chimborazo y las repercusiones socio-económicas de su población desde 1950-2017, mediante el análisis de los censos de población y vivienda que se han realizado en el país, para poder entender cuáles son las repercusiones socioeconómicas, el aspecto psicológico que afecta a las personas cuando migran y el impacto en la calidad de vida, que tiene en la provincia. Se parte de la premisa que la migración es un fenómeno social que se originó hace millones de años, y que ha venido evolución a lo largo de toda la historia. La investigación fue de carácter descriptiva y exploratoria, se la consideró de esta manera porque este tipo de estudio permitió entender el contexto de la población chimboracense que ha decidido migrar, además cabe mencionar que durante la investigación no se utilizaron variable cuantitativas, solamente se manipularon los censos para poder obtener información sobre la salida de inmigrantes. Para la recolección de datos se realizaron entrevistas al personal de los GADs Municipales, además de diez encuestas realizadas en cada cantón de la provincia de Chimborazo. Se llegó a la conclusión que el principal determinante migratorios es el económico, también que la principal consecuencia socioeconómica es el efecto en el mercado laboral que causa la migración, así como también que causa rupturas en las ciudades de destino. | es_ES |
